• The emergency lane along Sungai Besi Highway (Kuchai Lama-bound) will be closed from today (July 4) to 12 between 9.30am and 4.30pm and 10pm to 5am intermittently. Three lanes will be open and flagmen will be on site to facilitate traffic flow.
• The emergency lane at the slip road exit towards Kuala Lumpur-Seremban highway (North-bound) will continue to be closed until July 15 between 9.30am and 4.30pm and 10pm to 5am intermittently. Motorists can still use existing lanes towards Kuala Lumpur-Seremban Highway.
• The Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) will have EZ-Pay counters throughout this month at six locations between 10am and 3pm at Jalan SD2/1G (now until July 8), Jalan SD12/1 near McDonald’s (July 9 to 15), SS6 near Giant Supermarket (July 16 to 18), SS24 near Taman Megah market (July 19 to 22), PJU 8 Flora Damansara (July 23 to 25) and PJU 10 Damansara Damai near McDonald’s (July 26 to 31). Payment counters at their headquarters will be open on weekends and public holidays throughout July and August from 9am to 4pm for assessment payments.
• Shah Alam On Wheels is back this Saturday (July 7) from 11am to 5pm at the Giant carpark in Seksyen 18, Shah Alam. People can pay compounds, lodge complaints or pay assessment fees there.
Petaling Jaya City Council is calling for the public to give suggestions for its 2019 budget. The focus should be on the development of infrastructure, public facilities, landscaping services, solid waste and general cleaning, health, safety and community building.
