SIBU: Ballot papers from GE14 of the Lanang parliamentary constituency were destroyed yesterday at Sibu Municipal Council (SMC) depot as part of legal requirements.

Present to observe the ceremony was the returning officer for the constituency, Jong Thian Fuk. The two election agents for DAP and SUPP, Stephen Lu and Daniel Sng, were also there to witness the incineration.
