Blanket ban on foreign workers not feasible

WHILE it may be a good move to reduce dependency on foreign workers and maintain the authenticity of local food, banning foreigners from cooking in restaurants needs more deliberation and fine-tuning before it becomes a ruling, say restaurant operators.

One of the reasons was the work permits issued to foreigners who work in the food and beverage industry in Malaysia listed their job description as cook.
