THE Consumers Association of Penang (CAP) has voiced its concern over the potential loss of billions of ringgit in government revenue due to the lack of transparency in the awarding of spectrum (wireless airwaves) licences to mobile phone operators.
Its president S.M. Mohamed Idris said Malaysia should follow India’s footsteps in taking steps to align spectrum prices through an auction.
