Council introducing new rules to check online gaming business

Gamers spend a lot of time playing video games at a licensed cyber cafe in Penang.

MORE than 90% of the cyber centres and cyber cafes on Penang island are now operating illegally.

But the situation will be different following new guidelines that will be imposed to regulate the e-sports arena, cyber centre and cyber cafe businesses by Penang Island City Council (MBPP).
