Big drop in traffic offences during festive period

THE Road Transport Department (RTD) has seen a 19% drop in traffic offences during its Hari Raya enforcement operation.

RTD director general Datuk Seri Shaharuddin Khalid said some 30,820 people were issued with summonses, compared to 37,913 issued in such similar operation during the festive period last year.
