Preserving culture through dumpling tasting event

SOME 300 people of various clans thronged the Insa Dunia Food Court in Jalan Kampung Baru, Bukit Mertajam to participate in a dumpling tasting session.

The dumplings were prepared by five different clans of the women section comprising Bukit Mertajam Hung Kung Association, Hokkien Hoay Kuan of Province Wellesley, Persatuan Kwong Waai Siew Seberang Prai, Persatuan Hainan Seberang Perai and Pertubuhan Hakka Seberang Prai.
