Call to probe sand mining operation believed to have damaged Spaoh cemetery

KUCHING: The state government has been urged to investigate the soil erosion that has damaged the Seruai Muslim cemetery in Spaoh, about 270km from here.

Batang Lupar PKR branch chairman Abang Zulkifli Abang Engkeh said the erosion, which was believed to have been caused by sand mining along Sungai Saribas, damaged over 100 graves.
