MELAKA: The Melaka state government will consider several options to resolve the issue of illegal settlements on government reserve land at the Durian Tunggal Dam in Alor Gajah and Jus Dam in Jasin, without causing any problems for the squatters.

State Public Works, Transport and Public Amenities Committee chairman Mohd Sofi Abd Wahab said this was not a new issue as the group had been carrying out agricultural activities there for decades.
