WITH completely disintegrated benches, rusty collapsed railings, fallen trees, damaged walkways and garbage strewn along the hiking trails, the Penang National Park is in a deplorable condition.
Attributed to the lack of funding from the former Federal Government, the park’s condition has been under scrutiny after hikers expressed their displeasure to The Star recently.
