KUCHING: The State Reform Party Sarawak wants to make clear that it is known in short as STAR and that the acronym does not refer to the Sabah-based Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku.

STAR chairman Buln Ribos said the use of the acronym to refer to the Sabah party has caused misunderstanding among supporters, particularly after GE14 when Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku stated its backing for former Sabah chief minister Tan Sri Musa Aman.
