Police issue more than 300 summonses during festive period


Officers using an online system to check on bus drivers’ previous offences during the Ops Bus Khas at Larkin Bus Terminal.

JOHOR BARU: A bus driver was arrested after he was tested positive for methamphetamine during Ops Selamat 13 and Ops Bus Khas at the Pontian Bus Terminal carried out in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

Johor Traffic Enforcement and Investigation Department chief Supt Razak Md Said said some 377 vehicles, including 125 buses and 411 people were inspected during the operations on Tuesday at nine different locations in the state.
