Investments worth RM1bil within sight for Sabah’s east coast districts

SEMPORNA: The Sabah state government is set to bring in investments worth RM1bil to the state’s east coast districts of Lahad Datu, Semporna and Tawau.

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal said the investor, Hap Seng Group, had its hands in various investments in the state and planned to venture in other sectors such as palm oil and cement.
