Never-ending dispute between residents and developer over clogged drain


Residents of Taman Kaya are concerned over a blocked drain that is causing a stench.

A BLOCKED drain in Taman Kaya, Kuala Lumpur, is causing stagnant water, flood risks and possible spread of diseases in the neighbourhood.

Taman Kaya/Springfield Residents Association vice-president P.H.Wong said the drain passed through a private land, and the developer had blocked the drain with a concrete slab in April.
