TO encourage people to show their affection and appreciation for their loved ones, TV hosts, radio deejays, designer, singers, actors, models, film directors and inspiring individuals have come together for a special #ActNow video campaign.
Local personalities such as Asha Gill, Susan Lankester, Melinda Looi, Chelsia Ng, Jeremy Teo, Ash Nair, Bernie Chan, John Tan, Sean Lee Chee Chew and Saw Teong Hin all made the effort to support this initiative.
The #ActNow campaign is a public service announcement initiative by Xiao En that serves to remind people to care more for those dear to them, and not wait till it’s too late.
As a bereavement care provider, Xiao En has witnessed many situations in which family members and friends wished that they had done more for their dearly departed loved ones.
Things we can easily do without having to wait for a special occasion, like spending more time with our kids, taking our parents out or just telling them that we love them.
The #ActNow campaign echoes Xiao En’s philosophy of “Caring Like Family” and it hopes that more people will lead more meaningful lives, with no regrets, by making time for their loved ones now and making every moment count.
Besides the videos featuring the celebrities, the #ActNow campaign also features a Donate-a-Comment charity drive.
For every comment received under that Facebook post, Xiao En will donate RM10 to “HOPE worldwide Malaysia” which contributes to education programmes for underprivileged children (up to a total donation of RM15,000).
The public can view the videos on Xiao En’s Facebook page.
