Water theft probe to go on despite claims of mix-up

By KUANTAN: The National Water Services Commission (SPAN) Is Still Investigating Alliance Steel (M) Sdn Bhd For Connecting Water Supply Without Approval Even Though The Steel Mill Has Chalked It Up To Misunderstanding.

SPAN said an enforcement was carried out on May 16 after receiving information on water theft at the Malaysia-China Kuantan Industrial Park.

“During the operation, SPAN found that Alliance Steel made direct connections to Pengurusan Air Pahang Berhad’s main pipe without approval.
