SIBU: Fed up with the theft of trees and shrubs lining roads and public places, the Sibu Rural District Council (SRDC) is collaborating with a local developer to provide free saplings to residents.
SRDC deputy chairman Robert Lau Hui Yew said he wanted to make it easier for them to acquire the plants for free.
