Poor folk get a helping hand

TO help the poor cope with the rising cost of living, the Malaysian Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MICCI) Penang chapter presented foodstuff to 65 people at its premises in Penang Street, George Town.

Among the recipients was 70-year-old Ramayah Ismail, who was anticipating cooking up a feast for her two children and seven grandchildren this Raya celebration.
