WHILE other flood victims huddled and waited for the waters to recede, prison warden Mohd Azmi Hashim was busy making money by scooping up the hundreds of floating plastic jamming rivers at bridges.

The 52-year-old's home in Kampung Permatang Rawa, Bukit Mertajam, was in knee-deep water while he busily used a scoop net attached to a long pole to clean nearby Sungai Juru of floating plastic yesterday.
