Ministry conducts checks ahead of reduction in GST

THE Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism Ministry is checking on prices and services at retail outlets statewide before the goods and services tax (GST) is zero-rated on June 1.

Perak Chief Enforcement Officer Shamsul Nizam Khalil said, starting from May 24, enforcement officers visited over 170 retail outlets.
