MUSLIMS performing the Asar prayers at the Seberang Jaya Mosque in Butterworth in central Seberang Prai were delighted when a group began handing out bubur lambuk to them.

Staff members from the Sunway Group had prepared the porridge at Sunway Hotel Seberang Jaya nearby.

They then brought 800 containers to be distributed to the community.

Sunway Hotel Georgetown and Sunway Hotel Seberang Jaya general manager Prakash Kumaran said the company was glad to share the food with the community for the fasting month.

“We thank the mosque for giving us the opportunity to get to know the community better,” said Prakash recently.

Also present were Sunway Property Penang general manager Ahila Ganesan, Sunway Hotel Georgetown & Sunway Hotel Seberang Jaya financial controller Woo Hing Siang and Sunway Carnival Mall senior finance manager Lee Yau Chong.
