PKR assemblyman wants legislative sitting before July

KUCHING: Batu Lintang assemblyman See Chee How has urged the state government to hold its next legislative assembly sitting before July to deliberate on Sarawak’s sovereign power and rights in its oil and gas industry.

The Sarawak PKR vice-chairman said regulatory adjustments in all oil and gas industry entities involved in exploration, prospecting and mining of petroleum should be tabled, deliberated and passed in the State Legislative Assembly before it can be made enforceable.
