NGO: Dispose of flags and banners responsibly

Flags and posters scattered at a roadside in Taman Kinrara, Puchong after a downpour yesterday.

WITH the 14th General Election finally over, it is an eyesore to see campaign materials like party flags, posters, banners and bunting left behind in every nook and cranny of the Klang Valley.

Flags, banners and posters left hanging on trees, lamp posts, telephone lines, gates, fences and gantries that were put up one month before nomination day on April 28 are still hanging at these spots or have ended up in drains, monsoon drains or worse still, in landfills.
