GE14 a wake-up call for Sarawak Barisan

KUCHING: GE14 results that saw Sarawak Barisan Nasional lose 12 out of 31 parliamentary seats should serve as a wake-up call that they can no longer take rural voters for granted or ignore national issues.

Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas) political analyst Assoc Prof Dr Jeniri Amir said the state Barisan should also not ignore national issues which could have affected the people’s voting choice.
