IN AN unusual move, BN and opposition candidates for the Pandan parliamentary seat, as well as the state seat of Teratai, agreed to sign a pledge to fulfil 10 demands.
The agreement, drawn up by several Pandan NGOs, including the Taman Muda Selangor Hawkers and Traders Association, is to ensure that the winning candidates deliver on specific demands over the next five years.
Among those who signed the agreement were Pandan parliamentary candidate Datuk Leong Kok Wee (MCA), Teratai candidates Ben Liew Pok Boon (Gerakan) and Jenice Lee Ying Ha (Parti Rakyat Malaysia).
