Mum inspired me to get into politics: BN Kinrara's Chiew

BARISAN Nasional Kinrara state candidate Chiew Kai Heng (MCA) was inspired to serve the public because he grew up watching his mother treat the poor free of charge with traditional Chinese medicine.

“I grew up poor. My mother took on the role of breadwinner after my father passed away when I was 14.

"And yet she would provide traditional Chinese medical treatment without charging them, except for the cost of medicine.
