OF the 13 parliamentary constituencies in Penang, Bukit Gelugor has the highest number of voters with 91,780 people.

High-rise dwellers comprising middle class and working class people accounted for almost 50% of the electorates, with many of them residing in Bandar Baru Ayer Itam and Paya Terubong.
