MIRI: The midweek polling date may adversely affect voter turnout in remote areas of Sarawak.

The Federation of Orang Ulu Association of Malaysia (Forum) said it is discussing how to get native voters to turn up in bigger numbers to vote in high-altitude polling stations like Bario and Bakelalan and remote jungle settings like Lio Mato in Baram, Ulu Rajang and Lawas constituencies.
