The members who are registered under the Rosok voting district centre are from PKR, Warisan and Sabah STAR.

Their membership applications was received by Tempasuk assemblyman Datuk Musbah Jamli.

Musbah urged other opposition party members to quit and join Barisan Nasional coalition parties for the future of their children.

“Their move shows that they are smart voters,” he said, adding the right choice made during GE14 would help ensure Kota Belud gets the development it deserves.

He said the people have enjoyed various infrastructure and social economic development under the current government.

“If people continue voting for the opposition, we worry the areas they represent will not get anything,” Musbah added.

Santaim Gontiung said that they decided to join Barisan as they no longer had confidence in their former parties.

“We have thought this through and want a secure and brighter future for the younger generation,” Santaim said.
