PARTICIPANTS of Ipoh Starwalk 2018 stand a chance to win a 3D/2N stay at YTL’s Tanjong Jara Resort.
YTL Communications Sdn Bhd is back as a Platinum sponsor, supporting Ipoh Starwalk for the seventh year, and among the sponsored prizes are not just one, but two packages of the resort stay.
On being a returning sponsor, YTL Communications Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Wing K. Lee said Starwalk was in line with its motto of believing in positive change.
“We believe in positive change and we believe that The Star has been driving positive change in its own capacity, and we see eye to eye in terms of promoting healthy lifestyle and multi-generation family bonding.
“Starwalk is a good opportunity to spend time with family. I’ve seen participants comprising three generations of the family walking together.
“With our network YES, you can take photos at the event and post it on the spot,” he said.
Participants can also experience YTL Communications’ 4G brand YES at its booth.
Wing, who has taken part in previous walks, said: “Every year when I’m at Starwalk, I would see a long queue for booth activities, to win prizes.
“We just won the award for having the fastest download speed in Malaysia and most available 4G network in the country.
“Starwalk participants in Ipoh can test our network at the booth and know that the high speed is not just in Kuala Lumpur but nationwide.”
Ipoh Starwalk 2018, which is in its 15th year running, will be flagged off at the Perak Turf Club, the official venue provider, at Jalan Raja DiHilir at 7am on May 6.
The walk is organised by Star Media Group in collaboration with Ipoh City Council, Perak Education Department and Perak Athletic Association.
The platinum sponsor for the event is telecommunications company YES.
The gold sponsor is Indomie while the silver sponsors are F&N, Sports Toto and Counterpain.
