EWOG’s plantations in Sabah are generating good yields.

EAST West One Group (EWOG) will once again be part of the Fair to be held at Queensbay Mall, Penang, from April 12 to 15.

Founded by Datuk Dr Jessie Tang, it is primarily involved in the oil palm plantation business in Sabah and has interests in businesses within the oil palm value chain.

This includes oil palm cultivation, oil palm seedling distribution and fresh fruit bunches (FFB) collection centre operations.

EWOG touts itself as the nation’s leading and largest Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM) approved oil palm plantation interest scheme operator and manager.

There are two schemes under EWOG — the East West One Planters Scheme (EWOPS) and East West Horizon Planters Scheme (EWHPS).

EWOPS was fully subscribed in September 2015 while EWHPS is available for public subscription and will be featured at the fair.

EWOG’s plantation land bank under both approved interest schemes is close to 30,000 acres (12140.56ha) and located in Sabah.

Here, yields are one of the highest in Malaysia as published and confirmed by the Malaysian Palm Oil Board on their website.

EWHPS has a total land bank of 11,670 acres (4722.48ha) and offers high returns of up to 88% over an investment duration of eight years, the company says.

These fixed contractual returns are paid quarterly to investors by the appointed trustee, TMF Trustees Malaysia Berhad.

Invested capital is fully repaid to the investor upon maturity of the investment tenure.

EWOG has a consistent and unblemished track record in payouts of monthly net returns since the inception of EWOPS and EWHPS.

To date, investors have received 26 and 12 quarterly payouts under EWOPS and EWHPS respectively. The next payout will be made by June 30.

EWOG has an experienced plantation management team with relevant experience, credentials and track records in managing such land banks and schemes.

Development of land bank under both oil palm plantation interest schemes is progressing well. Planting and harvesting are ahead of schedule.

Good yields are being realised from the use of high quality planting materials and EWOG’s plantations are now generating incomes.

Interested parties can visit booth B5 at the four-day fair, open daily from 10.30am to 10.30pm.
