THE Malaysian United Party has criticised the Penang government for keeping the people in the dark over the state’s deforestation.
The party’s Pulau Tikus coordinator Wee Kean Wai said the hills of Tanjung Bungah, Paya Terubong and Mount Erskine have been extensively cleared and this has brought about a negative impact on the people and environment.
