Apartments’ leaky roofs to be replaced

RESIDENTS of Wisma Lam Hong apartments at Jalan Sungai Pinang in Penang received a piece of good news when the state approved their application for the Penang Maximum 80% Housing Maintenance Fund to replace the building’s leaky roofs.

The apartment’s community representative Yeap Teong Perng, 60, said the roof at the 96-unit apartments had sustained damage over the past three decades since it was built.
