Chance to admire keris collection at Malay expo


Mohd Yussof says the event would show off the many aspects of Malay culture and give the young a chance to see items up close.

SOME 30 keris from around peninsular Malaysia will be on display in an upcoming two-day exhibition at Dewan Sri Pinang in Penang.

Visitors can learn more about the keris, which a weapon unique to the Malay archipelago, and in the past, it was used by royal guards and warriors.
