Locals arrested for abetting illegal passport stamping services

JOHOR BARU: Two local men involved in a syndicate offering passport stamping services to foreigners have been arrested in Larkin here during the Ops Serkap operation.

Bangunan Sultan Iskandar Immigration head Darin Unsir said the suspects, both 44 years old, were nabbed at an apartment on Friday around 2am where officers from the department seized one Mongolian passport, five Thai passports and 28 Vietnamese passports, as well as a Proton Alza and a bag from the suspects.
