THE flood woes in Kuala Jalan Baru and the vicinity of Sungai Korok in Balik Pulau are expected to improve once the two flood mitigation projects are completed in May.

State Local Government, Traffic Management and Flood Mitigation Committee chairman Chow Kon Yeow said the projects include the upgrading of the Korok River and Kongsi River banks.
