Bolstering women’s fight against cancer

IN CONJUNCTION with International Women’s Day, a campaign to fight cancer was held by Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) Medical Faculty’s Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department, at Ulu Pudu Recreation Park in Kuala Lumpur.

Themed “Let’s Salute Our Superwomen”, the campaign kick-started with a drama performance before its official launch by Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) representative Datin Dr Noor Akma Shabudin and UKM Specialist Centre (UKMSC) consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist and gynaecologic oncologist Assoc Prof Dr Mohamad Nasir Shafiee.
