Jaro building to get RM1.8mil facelift for better accessibility

JOHOR BARU: The 50-year-old two-storey Johor Area Rehabilitation Organisation (Jaro) building is expected to undergo major renovations with an estimated cost of RM1.8mil to create an inclusive and accessible environment.

Jaro, which was established in 1952 to support people with disabilities by providing skills training such as sewing, bookbinding and basket making as well as regular employment, will be working with Think City for the project.
