Airline ensures everyone is rewarded

FIREFLY members have reason to rejoice as the airline is giving away guaranteed prizes through its “Everyone Gets A Prize” campaign from now until March 31.

With every ticket purchased via Firefly’s website, members stand a chance to randomly click open a virtual gift box and win prizes that include a one-way flight ticket, RM50 E-wallet voucher, RM50 Firefly online store voucher or Firefly Holiday online voucher.

This initiative is in line with the airline’s latest “FY is For You” campaign which runs throughout this year.

FlyFirefly Sdn Bhd marketing and communications vice-president Izra Azliana Mohd Izzuddin said the campaign was the main pillar and marketing direction for 2018.

“FY is For You is all about going back to basics, such as looking into people’s needs, sustaining the business market and attracting mass and leisure audiences.

“The campaign aims to better serve customers based on their needs, improve the airline’s competitive position, increase sales, improve market shares and enhance the overall brand image.

“FY is our flight code and it also stands for ‘For You’, which means Firefly is always there for you.

“We expect to bring to light the simplest pleasures in life that make each and every moment special when flying with Firefly,” she said.

The campaign will feature substantial segments such as FY Convenience, FY Benefit, FY Opportunity under Business To Business (B2B) while Business To Consumer (B2C) covers FY Action, Enjoyment, FY Engagement and FY Info.

B2B will be focusing on aircraft advertising, C-wallet corporate packages, partnerships and collaborations while B2C will concentrate on campaigns and promotions, value-added services, viral videos on social media, contests and media.

To enhance and maximise customer experience and satisfaction, a series of B2B and B2C campaigns will be rolled out throughout the year, such as the Everyone Gets A Prize campaign held under FY Appreciates You.

“There will be at least one big campaign within each quarter of the year,” Izra Azliana said.

Also currently running is the FY Smart Traveller, where passengers who purchase return flight tickets are entitled to a complimentary unique Grab voucher code valued at RM10 to be used to and from domestic airports where Firefly operates.
