Local council needs to have SOP on handling personal information


A local councillor said there is a need for Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) to have a standard operating procedure (SOP) when dealing with a complainant’s personal information.

“There must be an SOP for the control and management of a complainant’s personal information, to prevent a complainant from being fearful of making complaints,” said MBPJ councillor Derek Fernandez.
