IN A symphony of banging drums and leaping lions, Starhill Gallery ushered in the Year of the Dog with an elaborate lion dance performance on the third day of the lunar new year.

Held in front of the stylish mall in Kuala Lumpur’s main shopping district, the lion dance performance by Shaolin GC Showtime Academy drew both local and foreign spectators.
