KOTA KINABALU: An effective flood mitigation plan should be put in place to overcome perennial flooding in the northern Kota Marudu district.
Describing Kota Marudu as one of Sabah’s wettest districts, Kota Marudu MP Datuk Seri Dr Maximus Ongkili said that major expenditure was needed to overcome the flooding through a flood mitigation plan.
