Timely leg-up for 155 poor families

The families shopping for groceries at Sunway Putra Mall in conjunction with the ’Share because You Care - Chinese New Year Cheer 2018’ programme.

CHEONG Chee Kin, 74, and his wife Soong Yit Hoo, 73, from Cheras, can finally have a cheerful Chinese New Year celebration next week.

It will also be their first big one in many years because they are usually left with only RM5 every Spring Festival – which is hardly enough for anything.
