Japanese coast guards in Kuantan for maritime enforcement exercise


Japan Coast Guards Tsugaru PLH 02 is in Kuantan for a joint exercise with MMEA.

KUANTAN: The Japan Coast Guard’s (JCG) Tsugaru PLH 02 patrol vessel is at the Kuantan Port for a joint exercise with the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA). 

MMEA said in a statement that the ship, which was among the largest assets owned by JCG, departed from Hakodate Port, Japan, on Dec 28 and reached Kuantan on Jan 25.
