A PENANG lawmaker is against the idea of speeding up the chariot procession by making fewer stops during the Thaipusam celebration.
Seri Delima assemblyman R.S.N. Rayer (pic) said the suggestion by Penang police chief Comm Datuk A. Thaiveegan for both the golden and silver chariots to have fewer stops would not go down well with Penangites.
