Musicians take the stage in aid of ailing legend


Fernandez says tomorrow‘s fundraiser is a brilliant gesture.

TOMORROW, musicians will once again be taking the stage in a bid to help one of their own in Where Else Sports Bar in Sunway.

This time around, they will be performing in aid of composer-songwriter Datuk Ooi Eow Jin, 80, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in 2015 and is currently being cared for at home by his wife, Datin Elaine Khaw. Khaw and a caregiver. They are also looking after the couple’s 54-year-old son Raymond, who suffers from a brain tumour and is also visually impaired.
