KUCHING: Sarawak wants renewable energy to make up 50% of its energy consumption by 2050.

Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg said the state had an excellent chance to achieve this as its 2.7 million population is small enough to enable complete coverage.
