KOTA KINABALU: State government plans to use a cooperative, Koperasi Belia Rakyat (Kobera), to set up more centres to tackle problems caused by middlemen.
Sabah Consumer Affairs and Community Development Minister Datuk Jainab Ahmad Ayid said they were working closely with Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry officials here to promote the initiative of selling goods not only limited to controlled items but also chicken, vegetable and fish at below cost price in certain areas.
