THE industrial sector in Perak is currently facing a dearth of skilled workers, especially production operators to run machinery.

Addressing the issue on unemployment in the state, Perak Human Resources, Youth and Sports Committee chairman Datuk Shahrul Zaman Yahya said many factories are looking to fill vacancies in the state due to a lack of interest in the positions.
