PRICES of school supplies at supermarkets and shops in Penang have gone up between 30% and 40% compared withlast year’s prices, said Consumers Association of Penang (CAP).
Its president S.M. Mohamed Idris said parents with three schoolgoing children would have to spend at least RM500 on uniforms and other supplies now.
